Last Updated: 08/17/26
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of RiverX, including the RiverX website, poker tables, account features, community features, support tools, and any related services operated under the RiverX name. By creating an account, accessing the platform, joining a table, participating in gameplay, or using any RiverX feature, you agree to these Terms of Service.
Please read these Terms carefully. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and RiverX. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not create an account, access the platform, join a table, participate in gameplay, or use RiverX services.
RiverX is intended only for users who are legally permitted to access and use poker-related services in their location. You are responsible for making sure your use of RiverX is legal where you live, where you are physically located, and where you access the platform.
1. Eligibility and Age Requirement
RiverX is strictly for users who are 18 years of age or older.
By creating an account, accessing RiverX, joining a table, participating in gameplay, using any account feature, or interacting with the platform, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You are legally allowed to use RiverX in your location.
- You are not prohibited from using poker-related services by any law, rule, regulation, court order, platform restriction, prior suspension, or self-exclusion request.
- You are using RiverX for your own personal account and not on behalf of another person.
- You will not allow any person under 18 years old to access your account or use the platform through your device, login, wallet, browser, or session.
RiverX may suspend, restrict, or close any account if we believe the user is under 18, has provided false information, is located in a restricted area, is attempting to bypass location restrictions, or is otherwise not eligible to use the platform.
If you are under 18 years old, you are not allowed to use RiverX.
2. User Responsibility
You are responsible for your own use of RiverX. This includes your account activity, gameplay decisions, table participation, account security, device security, internet connection, and compliance with these Terms.
You agree that you will not use RiverX in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, harmful, disruptive, deceptive, or unfair to other players or to the platform.
You are responsible for understanding the rules of the poker tables you join. Before joining a table, you should review the table type, seat availability, gameplay rules, posted information, and any applicable platform notices.
RiverX is not responsible for losses caused by your own decisions, poor strategy, misunderstanding of game rules, device issues, internet issues, unauthorized account access caused by your negligence, or your failure to follow these Terms.
3. Account Creation and Account Security
To use certain RiverX features, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep your account credentials secure.
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login information private.
- Using a secure password.
- Keeping your email account secure.
- Logging out of shared devices.
- Preventing unauthorized access to your account.
- Not sharing your account with another person.
- Not selling, renting, transferring, or assigning your account.
- Immediately notifying RiverX if you believe your account has been compromised.
RiverX is not responsible for losses caused by account sharing, weak passwords, compromised email accounts, phishing, malware, device compromise, social engineering, or unauthorized access caused by your failure to secure your account.
RiverX staff will never ask you for your password, private keys, seed phrases, or sensitive login credentials through Discord, direct messages, social media, or unofficial channels.
4. One Account Per User
Unless RiverX gives written permission, each user may only maintain one account.
You may not create or use multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage, avoid limits, bypass restrictions, abuse promotions, manipulate tables, avoid suspensions, hide activity, or interfere with platform security.
RiverX may suspend, restrict, merge, close, or investigate accounts that appear to be connected, duplicated, coordinated, controlled by the same person, operated from the same device, associated with the same payment activity, or used in a way that violates these Terms.
5. Poker-Only Platform
RiverX is operated as a poker-focused platform. The platform may include poker tables, table selection screens, account controls, player activity, support tools, and administrative features related to poker operations.
RiverX may add, remove, rename, pause, limit, or modify poker tables, game types, table categories, table graphics, seat counts, table access rules, or lobby features at any time.
RiverX may also take tables offline for maintenance, updates, security review, technical issues, suspected abuse, or operational reasons.
6. Poker Table Categories and Seating
RiverX may offer multiple poker table categories, including but not limited to Micro NLH, Low Limit NLH, Standard NLH, High Limit NLH, High Roller NLH, private tables, invite-only tables, and host-controlled tables.
Each table may have its own settings, seat limits, access rules, blinds, table status, player count, and availability.
A displayed player count, such as 0/6, means the
table has a maximum listed seating capacity and a currently
displayed number of seated players. Player counts may update as
users join, leave, disconnect, reconnect, or are removed.
RiverX does not guarantee that a seat will remain available, that a table will remain open, or that a table will continue operating without interruption.
7. Rake Policy
RiverX collects a 10% rake from every completed poker pot.
The rake is taken from the completed pot according to RiverX’s platform rules and table logic. The remaining pot amount is distributed according to the result of the hand and the applicable poker rules.
The 10% rake applies only to completed and settled poker pots. RiverX may determine whether a hand is completed, cancelled, voided, refunded, interrupted, or unsettled based on system records and platform rules.
RiverX may correct rake calculations, reverse incorrect records, adjust settlement records, or review table activity if there is a technical issue, game error, exploit, bug, suspicious activity, or incorrect hand settlement.
The rake policy may be displayed in platform areas such as the Terms of Service, table rules, help pages, admin records, or other notices.
By joining a RiverX poker table, you acknowledge and accept the 10% rake from completed pots.
8. Gameplay Rules and Finality
Poker gameplay on RiverX is governed by the platform’s table logic, posted table rules, and server-side records.
You agree that:
- You are responsible for your decisions during gameplay.
- You must act within the allowed time when it is your turn.

- You must not abuse disconnects, timeouts, bugs, or interface behavior.
- You must not attempt to interfere with card dealing, hand settlement, pot distribution, rake calculations, or table state.
- You must not use unauthorized tools, bots, scripts, automation, solvers, overlays, screen-scrapers, or assistance software.
RiverX’s server records are the primary records for gameplay, table state, hand results, account balances, transactions, player actions, rake records, and dispute review.
If a conflict exists between what appears on a user’s device and what is recorded by RiverX’s server, RiverX may rely on the server records.

Suspected cheating or prohibited conduct may result in the loss, forfeiture, reversal, or withholding of funds connected to the suspicious activity, affected hands, affected accounts, or related accounts.
RiverX may use account activity, table behavior, betting patterns, timing patterns, device information, IP information, gameplay history, account connections, transaction records, technical logs, and other available information to review suspicious activity.
RiverX does not need to prove cheating beyond all doubt before taking protective action. RiverX may act based on reasonable suspicion, risk indicators, unusual patterns, security alerts, player reports, internal review, or system evidence.
11. Account Suspension and Termination
RiverX may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account at any time if we believe that:

Suspension may be temporary or permanent. During a suspension, you may lose access to gameplay, account features, support features, withdrawals, tables, or other platform functions.
Account termination may result in permanent loss of access to RiverX.
12. Funds, Balances, and Internal Ledger
RiverX may maintain an internal account balance or ledger for platform activity. The internal ledger is used to track user balances, deposits, withdrawals, poker results, rake, adjustments, refunds, reversals, and other account activity.
RiverX’s internal records are the primary records for balance calculations and account review.
Balances displayed on the front end may sometimes be delayed, cached, temporarily incorrect, or affected by technical issues. RiverX may correct displayed balances if server records show a different amount.
You agree that RiverX may adjust balances to correct:
- Technical errors.

- Failed payments.
- Reversed payments.
- Incorrect hand settlements.
- Incorrect rake calculations.
- Exploits or bug abuse.

13. Deposits and Payment Activity
RiverX may allow users to add funds through supported payment methods. Payment availability, supported assets, supported networks, processing times, minimums, maximums, fees, and payment statuses may vary.
You are responsible for sending payments to the correct address, using the correct asset, using the correct network, and following the displayed instructions.
RiverX is not responsible for payments sent to the wrong address, wrong network, unsupported asset, expired invoice, incorrect amount, duplicate payment, delayed blockchain confirmation, wallet error, exchange error, network congestion, or third-party processor issue.
A payment may not be credited until it is detected, confirmed, verified, and matched to your account through RiverX’s payment system and internal ledger.
RiverX may delay, reject, review, reverse, or withhold credit for payment activity that appears suspicious, incomplete, incorrect, unsupported, fraudulent, or unable to be verified.
14. Withdrawals

- RiverX is required to pause withdrawal activity for security, operational, or legal reasons.
RiverX may require additional confirmation or information before processing a withdrawal when necessary for security, fraud prevention, compliance, account ownership review, or platform protection.
You are responsible for providing correct withdrawal information. RiverX is not responsible for losses caused by incorrect wallet addresses, wrong networks, unsupported assets, user error, wallet compromise, exchange account issues, or blockchain finality.
15. Reviews and Requests for Information
RiverX may request additional information from a user when needed to protect the platform, confirm account ownership, review suspicious activity, investigate disputes, evaluate fraud risk, process certain transactions, or comply with applicable obligations.
Failure to provide requested information, or providing false, incomplete, misleading, or unverifiable information, may result in account restrictions, withdrawal delays, suspension, closure, or loss of access to certain features.
RiverX may also restrict accounts when required information cannot be reasonably verified or when account activity presents a risk to the platform or other users.

17. Technical Errors and Interruptions
RiverX may experience bugs, downtime, maintenance, connection issues, server errors, display errors, delayed updates, third-party payment issues, blockchain delays, or other technical interruptions.
RiverX may pause, cancel, void, settle, or correct affected gameplay or account activity when technical issues occur.

You may be folded, checked, timed out, removed from the table, or otherwise handled by the table logic depending on the situation and table rules.
RiverX is not responsible for losses caused by your device, connection, browser, app, operating system, internet provider, or failure to act before a timer expires.
Repeated disconnections, suspicious timing behavior, or abuse of disconnection mechanics may be treated as prohibited conduct.

RiverX may modify, pause, restrict, disable, replace, remove, or discontinue any feature at any time.
RiverX may perform maintenance without prior notice.
RiverX may restrict access during technical problems, security issues, payment processor interruptions, high traffic, account reviews, or suspected abuse.
20. Responsible Play
Poker involves risk. You should only participate with funds you can afford to lose.
RiverX does not guarantee winnings, profit, table availability, opponent availability, or any specific outcome.
You are responsible for your own gameplay decisions and risk management.
If you believe your play is becoming harmful, stressful, or difficult to control, you should stop using the platform and seek support from appropriate resources.
RiverX may offer account restrictions, cool-off options, or other responsible play tools when available. RiverX may also restrict accounts if activity suggests potential harm, abuse, or unsafe use.
21. Fair Play and Game Integrity
RiverX aims to maintain fair poker gameplay. Fair play requires that every user plays independently, honestly, and without prohibited assistance.

You must not exploit bugs, errors, vulnerabilities, race conditions, payout issues, display errors, balance errors, hand settlement errors, or any unintended behavior.
If you discover a bug or vulnerability, you must report it to RiverX and stop using it immediately.
Using a bug for personal gain, sharing a bug with others, attempting to hide bug abuse, or repeatedly triggering unintended behavior may result in suspension, account closure, loss of funds, and other corrective action.
RiverX may reverse or correct any funds, hands, balances, or table results affected by bugs or exploits.
